The Sponsor
“You’re in the business of making the lives of others better through events. So prove it!”
The sponsor of the school dance is the leader. They are the adult that has decided to help the students have an event that otherwise wouldn’t have a chance of existing. They lead and guide the event in the direction to achieve desired results. The sponsor is well respected and understands that their event will be enjoyed by many but it is important to lead the way to a great event. Sponsors work tirelessly to keep the faith that students will support all the effort it takes to put an event on. Well before the first dime is spent the sponsor has to focus the direction for success. Sponsors are your teachers that do their daily job and then take on the responsibility of honoring tradition by giving their extra time and talents back. A great sponsor is rewarded with nonverbal feedback of smiles and laugher. Take a bow and get some rest. You are going to have to do it all over again next year.
